Practice Resumes

May 4, 2020

Hello Everyone! First, let me say that I miss each and every one of you! I hope you’ve been safe and well and will continue that way. Please be encouraged to stay home if you are sick, believe to be immunocompromised, or have a general fear of leaving your home during the situation at hand.

Due to the recent directives of our Governor and local health authorities,

Healing Care Acupuncture will soon resume practice with new guidelines in place and limited availability and hours of Tues-Thur 11AM-6PM.

All appointments are also limited to 50 minutes. Therefore, there will be no extended treatments to allow modalities such as cupping, guasha, or moxibustion. Appointments are staggered and farther apart to limit exposure to others and to allow additional and necessary sanitization between appointments.

The currently established plan will be in place for the next 90 days while I continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation in our state and community. In order for me to reopen, maintain the best care for you, and meet the requirements of the new guidelines, I kindly ask for your patience and compliance with these new practices. Call or text me at 937.532.5773 if you have any questions or concerns.

March 16, 2020

Please know this IS NOT an easy decision to make. We are all affected by the uncertainties and difficulties of this time. We each MUST make the most responsible decisions given the unknown circumstances we are faced with.

Healing Care Acupuncture WILL BE CLOSED until a reasonable timeframe can be sorted out. Therefore, all appointments scheduled through the end of April will be cancelled. I will be in touch with you to reschedule at a later date. New Patient appointments will not be scheduled at this time.

Thank you for understanding. Thank you for complying to help support the greater cause of everyone's well-being. Please take good care of yourself and your loved ones. Stay well! Stay informed! Stay on the course of perseverance! Looking forward to our continued journey on the other side of this.  Sending you Prayers, Love, Sacred Light, and Many Blessings!

Position on COVID-19

March 8, 2020

On the matter of COVID-19

Practice Good Decision Making

If you are ill or believe you are immune-compromised, please consider staying away from places and practices that can worsen your illness or health, and even that of others. My late-cancellation policy will not apply to this. Please understand this is a healthy effort to safeguard you, others, and myself. Contact your healthcare provider or staff if you’re feeling ill and uncertain of what to do. The CDC has valuable information and even a hotline to help you understand the situation and what steps to take:  https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html Visit their website anytime.

Practice Good Hygiene

Personal hygiene and self-care to stay clean: wash hands, clothes, and yes your self--daily!

Keep personal spaces clean. The shoes that you walked into a public restroom with should not end up on your bedroom floor. No! Surfaces aren’t limited to your hands.

There are many suggested practices and immune-support supplements out there. Again, educate yourself and keep up your healthy practices that should’ve been in place all along. This includes minimizing stress, sleeping well, good nutrition, and movement in your day--such as exercise, walking, yoga, TaiChi, Qigong.

Be Considerate and Practice Reason

Don’t allow your fears to get the best of you or the situation. There will be some interruption and that too will pass. Instead of following this emergence as a state-by-state, city-by-city, neighborhood-by-neighborhood impending doom approaching your way, treat this as you would any cold and flu season and as if exposure has already occurred. Okay, let that sink in. So back to the importance of self-care, good hygiene, and stay informed.

Please Stay Well! Love, Light, Blessings!
